About Elissa Morris (Owner):

Elissa is a southern belle who grew up in the heart of Alabama. She went to college for Physical Education on a Volleyball Scholarship to Faulkner University in Montgomery Alabama. After graduating college she took a job as a PE Teacher and Volleyball Coach at a local high school. She Married her college sweetheart on July 29, 2017. Being a new bride, teacher, and coach was not enough for Elissa. Through her hard work ethic from being a student athlete her whole life she did not want to settle for a routine life. She had always helped out her family fixing things around the house, interior decorated, and painted for fun when she was growing up. From Elissa, "Ive always been good at fixing things and always made A's in art in high school. Im not really sure how my brain can take an idea for a project and turn something from nothing to something really amazing and unique. My husband truly inspired me to start this business. He told me that God gave me a talent and not to waste it." Thus New Life Furniture Co. was born. On September 24, 2017 Elissa sold her first piece of refurbished furniture and from then on the business took off.

New Life Furniture Co. got its name "New Life" from taking old overlooked pieces of furniture and making them into new beautiful pieces with character and a story. The refurbished furniture gets a new start in life just like how Christians get a new start in life by being saved by Jesus. 

New Life was born on September 24, 2017. New Life can accept your furniture piece to refurbish how you like it, you can select a piece and New Life can refurbish from a design of your choosing, and you can also purchase one of New Life's designs from their Facebook Page!
